08-09.12.2007 The spouse of the President of Ukraine Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko visits the Netherlands
Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund members are staying in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for a two-days working visit. Its major goal is attending the final part of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 on December 8, 2007.
According to the Working Visit Program – 08 December 2007:
Mrs. Kateryna met with the Ukrainians living in the Netherlands, who are well known in the Dutch music, media and cultural sphere. The friendly meeting with the former compatriots took place in Rotterdam: Victoria Koblenko, Iryna Gorvanko, Oleksandra Lenyshyn and Olena Kopanychuk.

Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko had a meeting with the European Broadcasting Union top management in Rotterdam. Among its participants were EBU Director General Jean Reveillon, Director of EBU TV Department Bjorn Erichsen, Head of the Junior Eurovision Steering Group Steve De Coninck-De Boek.
The major theme for discussion was the possibility of holding the Junior Eurovision 2009 in Ukraine, at the Artek ICC.

Members of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund met in Rotterdam with representatives of the Netherlands humanitarian organizations working in Ukraine. The participants of the meeting were Head of the Stichting Spoetnik Beja Kluiters, Head of the Christian Aid to the Eastern Europe Foundation Jan Ebeltjes, Head of the Stichting Breath Nico De Borst, participants of The Dutch Host Family and Holiday Plan humanitarian programs Jan and Rolanda de Brein, Hans and Rolanda Reuter, Herbert and Mariette Piksen.
Mrs. Kateryna Yushcehnko thanked the representatives of the Netherlands humanitarian organizations for their help to Ukraine, in part, the organizations helping Ukrainian children. representatives of the Netherlands humanitarian organizations outlined the major areas of their activities and projects aimed at helping Ukraine, in part, its East and Zakarpattia regions, and shared their attainments and problems they are facing.

Kateryna Yushchenko took part in the finals of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007. The event was held at the Ahoj Rotterdam concert hall. Participants from 17 countries of Europe were taking part in the Junior Eurovision finals. This year its theme is Water and slogan, Make a Big Splash!
The show was being broadcasted live from Rotterdam by the First National TV Channel, member of the European Broadcasting Union. Ilona Halytska ranked ninth. After the event, Mrs. Yushchenko and the Ukrainian delegation talked to Ilona. Mrs. Yushchenko thanked her for the interesting performance.

Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko and Fund members visited Delft. Mrs. Yushchenko met with Mayor of Delft Gijsbertus Antonius Alphons Bas Verkerk. The participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities for establishing contacts between engineering colleges and also in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage, as well as establishing cooperation between Delft and one of Ukrainian cities.
The Ukrainian guests took a tour of the city, visiting the New Church, Princenhoff Museum, and the City Hall.

Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko visited the Institute of International Relations Clingendael in The Hague.
Mrs. Kateryna met with the Institute’s Director, Prof. Jaap de Zwaan, and the faculty. They discussed the cooperation between Clingendael and Ukrainian universities, which started in 1992. Prof. Jaap de Zwaan told the Ukrainian guests about the University’s educational programs, partly, those participated by Ukrainian students. He said that during the period of their cooperation, over 40 professionals from Ukraine had visited Clingendael.
